Four Dead as Majorca Beach Club Roof Collapses

Tragedy Strikes Popular Tourist Destination

At least four people have been killed and 16 injured after the roof of a popular beach club on the Spanish island of Majorca collapsed on Saturday evening.

The incident occurred at the Medusa Beach Club in the popular resort of Palma Nova. Witnesses reported that the roof of the two-story building suddenly collapsed, trapping people underneath.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and rescued several people from the rubble. Four people were pronounced dead at the scene, while 16 others were taken to hospital with injuries. One person is reported to be in a critical condition.

The cause of the collapse is not yet known, but an investigation is underway.
