New train station for Rosmalen

Opening planned for end of 2025

New station on the Eindhoven-’s-Hertogenbosch line

In the coming years, Rosmalen will get a new train station. That station will be located at the existing railway line between Eindhoven and 's-Hertogenbosch. This was announced by the State Secretary for Infrastructure and Water Management, Vivianne Heijnen, on Friday.

The construction of the new station is necessary because Rosmalen is growing rapidly. The station will make it easier for residents of Rosmalen to travel by train to other cities in the region.

The new station will be located near the A59 motorway. This will make it easy to reach by car. The station will also have a bus station, so that people can easily transfer to other forms of public transport.

The construction of the new station will start in 2024. The station is expected to open at the end of 2025.

The new station is part of a larger project to improve the railway line between Eindhoven and 's-Hertogenbosch. This project also includes the construction of a new track between Eindhoven and Veghel.

The project is expected to cost around 200 million euros. The money will come from the government and the province of North Brabant.
