Awards and Recognition
The 2023 live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid has not yet been released, so it is not eligible for awards at this time. However, the 1989 animated film won two Academy Awards, for Best Original Score and Best Original Song ("Under the Sea"). It was also nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay.
